Depart Dili 8.30am - Return 4.30pm

OPTION 1 Snorkellers

Travel to Atauro via 3 areas well known for Dolphin and Whale activities, anchor at the beach for a picnic lunch and enjoy the opportunities for snorkeling, swimming, beachcombing and a wander through the picturesque village of Akrema . We then set off and do some deep sea fishing along the rugged coast line of Atauro before returning to Dili.

OPTION 2 Divers

Travel to Atauro via 3 areas well known for Dolphin and Whale activities, Scuba Dive on 2 of Atuaro’s premium dive sites (locations depend on weather conditions on the Day), anchor at the beach  for a picnic lunch and enjoy the opportunities for snorkeling , swimming, beachcombing  before reboarding the boat for our 2nd Dive before returning to Dili.

NB: An Emergency Oxygen Kit is provided on the boat on a user pays basis, Tanks and weights are included. Dive gear rental $25 per pax

Overnight Atauro SPECIAL only $120!!!

Includes pick up and drop off from your accommodation to place boat leaves (in front of Casa Europa). Watertaxi to Atauro and return to Dili, and 1 nights stay all inclusive of meals, tea and coffee at either Barrys eco-lodge or Tua Ko'in Eco-village, but the day and night planning is all your own!!

1.5 Day Atauro overnight sailing adventure

Day 1
Depart Dili 7.30am
Travel to Atauro on the motor-sailing vessel Ariki 2 slowly across the channel, moor at Belio and enjoy lunch on the boat and snorkeling and swimming over the reef. Transfer to the Eco lodge where you can enjoy laying on the beach, exploring the nearby village and watch the local fisherman at work. Enjoy 2 dives and overnight stay on the yacht for a max of 6 pax.

Enjoying a traditional Timorese Dinner at the lodge or an atauro special pizza at the Manukoko restaurant in Vila.

Day 2
Depart Beloi 7.30pm.
Enjoy a hearty bacon and egg breakfast before setting off back to Dili to arrive about 12.30 in time to join your friends for lunch

3 Day Atauro overnight adventure

Day 1
Depart Dili 7.30am
Travel to Atauro via 3 areas well known for Dolphin and Whale activities, anchor at Belio and enjoy lunch on the boat and snorkeling and swimming over the reef. Transfer to the Eco lodge where you can enjoy laying on the beach, exploring the nearby village and watch the local fisherman at work. Enjoying a traditional Timorese Dinner at the lodge.

Day 2
Depart Beloi 9.30pm.
Enjoy a hearty bacon and egg breakfast before setting off to explore the island spending the day meandering along the rugged western coastline which is only accessible by boat, snorkeling or diving on amazing  untouched coral walls, deep sea fishing, dolphin and whale watching. We stop at one of the smaller villages and have lunch on beach. After lunch those who want to take the trekking trip leave, and the boat returns to the Eco lodge where we enjoy a fantastic beach BBQ and some local entertainment with a traditional cultural dance. (Trekking option – 2 ½ hour relatively easy trek across the base of the mountains and back to the Eco lodge) 

Day 3
Depart Eco Lodge 9.00am
Enjoy a breakfast of warm homemade Timorese rolls and seasonal fruits before travelling in local angunuh transport for a 2 hour tour of parts of the Island accessible by road featuring areas of economic, historical and cultural significance. We then transfer back to the boat and set off and do some deep sea fishing along the rugged coast line of Atauro and stop for lunch on a secluded beach only accessible by boat enjoying a swim and some snorkeling  or diving before heading back to Dili for a 4.30pm arrival.

Additional information

What to bring:

• Clothing: Lightweight cloths that will give protection from the Sun. 
• Sun block: Sun block should be at least 30 SPF 
• Insect Repellent: Aero guard, Rid or Bushman 
• Sunglasses: Sunglasses are recommended, especially if polarised. 
•  Tackle is supplied on a replacement if lost or damaged basis. You are welcome to bring your own. 
• Complimentary email photos available on all charters.
• Please note all optional extra charges are paid directly to the service providers on Atauro and have a large impact on the development of Atauro’s micro tourism development.

Guarantees:

“Fish including Whales and Dolphins are wild marine life”, there is never a guarantee. We can only guarantee you will have an enjoyable day on the water.

Conditions:

• Payment must be made in full 5 days before the charter. 
• Cancellations: Clients will receive a refund of 50% of payment if cancellation arises within 72hours of the charter. 
• Tours are subject weather conditions and the Skipper has the final say. 
• Clients to accept full responsibility if any snorkeling or fishing gear is broken, damaged, or lost. Based on replacement Value 
• Insurance is not included in this tour and all clients are advised to have their own travel insurance.
